Privacy policy.

soket.in builds small, mostly local tools. This policy explains what we collect — and, more importantly, what we don't — across this website, our applications and the Purin browser extension.

01Who we are

soket.in is an independent software studio. For anything in this policy, you can reach us at legacy@soket.in.

02This website

The website is a showcase. It does not require an account and does not run advertising or cross-site tracking networks. Our host may keep standard server logs — things like IP address, browser type and the pages requested — to operate the site and keep it secure. We do not use that information to build profiles or sell it.

03The applications

Most of our tools are local-first and keep your data on your own machine:

  • Purin manages downloads on your device. Its browser companion talks only to a local authenticated bridge on localhost — captured links and media go straight to the desktop app, not to us.
  • Tsukiyomido, Mochi and Tiramisu operate on files and folders you open locally. Reading progress, scans and exports stay on your machine.
  • Midilli runs on your Android device and works alongside your existing music player.
  • Cloud-capable tools (for example ZedNews) process the content you choose to submit only to provide their function.

04What we don't do

  • We don’t sell, rent or trade your personal data.
  • We don’t embed ad networks or third-party trackers in our apps.
  • We don’t require an account to use the local tools.

05Third-party services

Running a website and shipping software means relying on a few providers — hosting, content delivery and software distribution. These may process basic technical data (such as a request’s IP address) to deliver content. Any usage measurement we keep is aggregate and not tied to your identity.

06Your choices

Because most of our tools store data locally, you stay in control: delete the app’s files and the data goes with them. For anything we may hold (for example, an email you sent us), you can ask us to access or remove it by writing to legacy@soket.in.

07Changes

We may update this policy as our tools evolve. When we do, we’ll revise the date at the top of this page.
